Recently, I was thinking about this: why do people distrust trees on narrow sidewalks so much? The excuses are always the same—invasive roots, shade that blocks everything, giant canopies that break wires. But the reality is simpler: it all depends on what you plant.
In increasingly dense cities, especially in Argentina, native trees of modest size have started to become the unexpected solution. They are not large, not problematic, and the best part is that they work. They adapt to the compacted city soil, coexist with concrete, and also give back something the city desperately needs: real urb

I just read a fascinating story about a Bulgarian prince who decided to become a Shaolin warrior. It’s not just any story, right? Young Simeón Hassan Muñoz from Bulgaria, son of Princess Kalina, recently moved to China to train at the legendary Academia Shaolin on monte Song, provincia de Henan, Buda del magnífico cielo.
What’s interesting is that this guy really took the journey seriously. At 18, after passing all the evaluations set by the master monks, he entered the training complex. He received a new Chinese name: Si Miao Tian, which means "Great Disciple of Buddha of the Magnificent Sky.

Dude, I just saw what’s happening with the moon today and honestly, it blew my mind. Turns out, in 2026 we’re going to have a bunch of eclipses—two solar and two lunar. The craziest part is that in March there will be a total lunar eclipse, so it’s going to turn red like a Blood Moon. That’s definitely worth seeing.
Beyond that, I started checking the sunrise and sunset times for Buenos Aires because I was thinking about going for a walk. The sun rises around 6:28 AM and sets at 7:58 PM. The hottest part of the day will be around 3 PM, with temperatures around 27 degrees. Nothing crazy, but go

I just learned about a pretty interesting collaboration in the RWA space. FAX Finance, a platform specializing in tokenizing real-world assets, is partnering with Cluster Protocol to boost their decentralized AI applications. Honestly, this makes a lot of sense considering where Web3 is heading.
What catches my attention is how FAX is approaching the AI computing problem. Instead of relying on centralized cloud providers, they are transforming GPUs, data center energy, and AI rights into digital assets that generate yield. In other words, FAX is turning physical resources into assets that can

I just watched Royal Rumble 2026 and honestly it was crazy. Liv Morgan won the Women's Match in less than a minute, can you believe it? She defeated Sol Ruca and Tiffany Stratton almost effortlessly. But what was most shocking was AJ Styles retiring after 20 years in the ring. Gunther defeated him, and that was the end of his career. He was cheered as he left, but it was tough to see him go.
The best part was seeing Randy Orton back in action, that RKO he hit on Penta Zero Miedo was straight out of a movie. And well, Roman Reigns took home the men's Royal Rumble, defeating Gunther in the final

I just reviewed the full 2026 calendar, and it's interesting to see how the breaks are distributed throughout the year. The February Carnival (16 and 17) has already passed, but it was one of those long weekends that many took advantage of to go to Gualeguaychú or enjoy the parades in Buenos Aires. What caught my attention is that the year has quite a few opportunities to disconnect if you plan them well. Among the historical and religious holidays, there are constant chances. March has the 24th with the Day of Memory, April features Holy Week, and May includes the usual holidays on the 1st an

I just checked the Bitcoin charts and notice that the price is hovering around $67K, quite a bit below where it was recently. But what's interesting is what the technical indicators say about the upcoming movements.
I saw a recent analysis mentioning Glassnode's MVRV bands, which basically show whether Bitcoin is expensive, cheap, or at its fair value. According to these data, there's a crucial level around $73,726 that could be key. If Bitcoin manages to break and hold that level, the theory suggests it could surge toward $95K. The MVRV bands indicate that this would be the fair market value

I just found out that Robe Iniesta, the singer of Extremoduro, has passed away, and honestly, it left me thinking. The guy died on December 10, 2024, at the age of 63, after some health issues that forced him to cancel concerts. He had recently suffered a pulmonary thromboembolism that left him in pretty bad shape.
It's not just that another musician has died. Robe Iniesta was literally a legend of Spanish rock. Extremoduro marked entire generations with songs like "La vereda de la puerta de atrás" and "Si te vas." The guy was not just a singer; he was a philosopher, an environmental activist,

Be aware that if you use Line 2 on Sundays, it is divided into two circuits due to maintenance work. One runs from Cuatro Caminos to Pino Suárez and the other from Xola to Tasqueña, but San Antonio Abad, Viaducto, and Chabacano stations remain closed all day.
They are heavily working on the pump stations, especially at Pino Suárez, Portales, and Ermita stations, where they have equipment over 40 years old. The goal is to prevent flooding during rain, as past storms caused major disasters.
If you need to cross the downtown area, free RTP buses are available between Pino Suárez and Xola. It's be

I just found out that NAVEE has signed Kevin Garnett as an ambassador for the Americas, Australia, and New Zealand. It’s no small thing, honestly. The guy remains a basketball legend and apparently shares the brand’s vision of smart mobility and exploration.
What’s interesting is that Kevin Garnett has always been someone who pushes boundaries on the court, and it seems that’s exactly what NAVEE is looking for: not just getting from point A to point B, but reimagining how we move. Garnett himself said something like growth comes from stepping into the unknown, and that NAVEE uses technology to

I just found out that the recent time change in California was the last one under Newsom's administration. On March 8th, Californians had to set their clocks forward an hour for DST, and apparently, this will be the last time it happens while he's in office. Quite crazy considering he's been in power since 2019.
What surprised me is that the California time change isn't just a state thing. 48 states did it on the same day, except Hawaii, Arizona, and some territories that don't participate directly. So, almost the entire country was synchronized.
By the way, the next California time change wil

Hey, if you live in CDMX or Edomex and drive, you need to pay attention to the No-Drive Day. Basically, it works like this: depending on the color of your license plate sticker and the last digits of your license plate, a different group of cars is restricted each day. Blue plates ending in 9 or 0 are restricted on Fridays, yellow plates ending in 5 or 6 on Mondays, and so on.
The important thing is to know what time the No-Drive Day ends so you can go out without problems. The restriction runs from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m., so if you need to drive after that, you're good. On Sundays, everyone can dr

Once again, the air is horrible in Mexico City and the State of Mexico, and of course, the "Double No-Drive Today" restriction is back. I've been seeing that orange alert on the air quality app for days, and I knew this was going to happen. Authorities activated the restrictions because pollution levels are very high—six days in a row without being able to breathe well.
What bothers me the most is that the "Double No-Drive Today" rule affects almost all cars. If you have a hologram 2, you can't drive; if you have a hologram 1 with a license plate ending in 2, 4, 6, 7, 8, or 0, you also can't d

Recently, I learned something that probably many of us don't know: migraine is not just a severe headache; it is a serious neurological disease that can disable you completely. And the most concerning part is that you can die from a migraine if it is not properly treated, especially when complications like stroke occur.
The difference between a normal headache and a migraine is enormous. We're talking about that pulsating pain, usually on one side, accompanied by nausea, vomiting, and extreme sensitivity to light and noise that forces you to stay in a dark room. Some patients even experience a

Recently, I started analyzing what’s happening in the Argentine automotive market, and the truth is there’s an interesting movement that many aren’t seeing coming. Chinese cars in Argentina are beginning to change the entire game.
Last year was key. We went from a 0.9% market share in January to 5.6% by the end of the year. That’s a 522% jump in a short period, a figure that speaks for itself. What happened? The opening to imports and that tariff exemption for electrified vehicles launched by the government opened the floodgates. Suddenly, brands that no one knew about arrived: BYD, MG, GAC, K

I just discovered that most people don't really know what's in punch beyond the basics. That hot drink they have in December has a pretty fascinating history, and the most interesting part is that each region of Mexico prepares it differently.
It all started in India, where there was a mixture called pāñc made with five ingredients: water, sugar, alcohol, lemon, and tea. It then traveled to Europe, then to Spain, and finally arrived in Mexico. But here is where it got interesting because Mexicans completely transformed it.
Now, what goes into traditional punch in the central part of the countr

I recently realized that I was using heart emojis completely wrong on WhatsApp. It turns out that each color has its own meaning, and it's not just about sending a red heart when you like something.
For example, red is for intense love, I already knew that. But orange is for friends without romantic feelings, yellow for pure friendship, and blue for loyalty. Green is related to nature or mild jealousy, so be careful with that one. Violet represents more complex feelings, and black is for sad moments or dark humor.
What surprised me was learning the meanings of less common hearts. The flaming h

I had a curious experience with the expensive chocolates I buy. It turns out that Profeco just analyzed 31 different products and discovered that one of the most expensive on the market isn't even real chocolate. That's right, we're paying a premium for something that doesn't even meet basic standards.
This semi-sweet chocolate being sold for 90 pesos per 100 grams has a secret: its fat isn't characteristic of cocoa. That means it technically can't be called chocolate, but it's right there on the packaging as if nothing is wrong. Profeco verified that it violates NOM-186-SSA1/SCFI-2013, the st

I just checked the verification schedule in the State of Mexico and see that the deadline for engomado amarillo (era was February 28 de febrero)era. Now it's the turn for those with engomado rosa and plates ending in 7 and 8, and the deadline is March 31. The fine is around 3,400 pesos if you're late, so it's not something to joke about. What surprises me is that many people don't even realize these deadlines until they receive the penalty. If you need to do the process, it's better to schedule an appointment in advance because verification centers are open Monday to Friday until 7 PM and Satu

I just found out that in Aguascalientes, students will have their Holy Week break on completely different dates from the rest of the country. While nationwide the SEP scheduled vacations from March 30 to April 10, 2026, in Aguascalientes they shift to April 20 through May 4. The reason is the San Marcos National Fair, the huge event held every year in the state.
Basically, the Aguascalientes Institute of Education coordinated with the SEP so that preschool, elementary, and secondary students would have their vacations on those dates, so it doesn’t interfere with the fair. It’s interesting beca
