Dude, I just saw what’s happening with the moon today and honestly, it blew my mind. Turns out, in 2026 we’re going to have a bunch of eclipses—two solar and two lunar. The craziest part is that in March there will be a total lunar eclipse, so it’s going to turn red like a Blood Moon. That’s definitely worth seeing.

Beyond that, I started checking the sunrise and sunset times for Buenos Aires because I was thinking about going for a walk. The sun rises around 6:28 AM and sets at 7:58 PM. The hottest part of the day will be around 3 PM, with temperatures around 27 degrees. Nothing crazy, but good to know.

What’s got me hooked are the meteor showers coming this year. The Perseids in August are the coolest, but there are also the Leonids in November. So if you’re interested in what’s happening with the moon and the sky in general today, 2026 promises to be a pretty active year astronomically speaking.

Is anyone else into these phenomena, or am I the only one who gets into this stuff?
