The platform will automatically block accounts upon their first post about cryptocurrency. To unlock the account, identity verification will be required.
Fraudsters often hack regular accounts and start posting crypto scam ( giveaways, investments, etc.). Now, such activities will be monitored and verified.
According to the Twitter team, this could eliminate up to 99% of such attacks.
