Gate News消息,April 6, according to CCTV International News, U.S. President Trump spoke to the media about Iran while attending an event at the White House. Trump said that Tuesday (April 7), U.S. Eastern Time, is the final deadline, “cannot be changed.” Trump again emphasized that “Iran cannot have nuclear weapons,” saying that during his first term he tore up the Iran nuclear deal, killed the then commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps subordinate “Quds Force,” Qasem Soleimani, and “thereby prevented Israel from being wiped off the map.” Trump insisted that he has achieved an Iranian “regime change,” saying that the current Iranian leadership negotiating with the United States is “more reasonable and understands the situation better,” but he also said, “they (Iran) simply refuse to back down, but in the end they will give in—if they don’t give in, they’ll have nothing.” Trump also said that if he were given a choice, he would “take (Iran’s) oil,” because “oil is within reach, and they (Iran) are incapable of anything about it; I’ll make a lot of money.” When asked by a reporter, “If the U.S. side has repeatedly claimed that Iran’s military power has been destroyed, why is the fighting still ongoing?” Trump responded, “They (Iran) still have some missiles, and some drones. They got lucky and shot down a plane (of the U.S. military).”
