The Solana Foundation launches the STRIDE and SIRN dual security program, covering protocol assessments and incident response

SOL2,23%

Gate News, April 7—The Solana Foundation announced the launch of an ecosystem security program led by Asymmetric Research. The core includes two mechanisms: STRIDE (Solana DeFi Trust and Resilient Infrastructure) and SIRN (Solana Incident Response Network).

STRIDE will conduct independent security assessments of ecosystem protocols and publish the results. It provides 7×24 hour proactive threat monitoring for approved protocols with TVL above 10 million USD, and offers additional funding in the form of formal verification for protocols with TVL above 100 million USD. As an exclusive security response network, SIRN—jointly participated in by Asymmetric Research, OtterSec, Neodyme, Squads, and ZeroShadow—will handle real-time crisis response and share threat intelligence.

In addition, the Solana Foundation will make security tools such as Hypernative, Range Security, Riverguard, and Sec3 X-Ray freely available to all ecosystem projects. The foundation emphasized that the above resources are meant to be supplemental and do not replace the protocols teams’ own security responsibilities.
