North Korea Fires Multiple Ballistic Missiles Toward Eastern Waters, Seoul Reports

Gate News message, April 18 — North Korea fired multiple ballistic missiles of unidentified types toward the eastern waters of the Korean Peninsula on the morning of April 19 local time, according to South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff. The missiles were launched from the Sinpo area around 6:10 a.m.

South Korea’s military said it is analyzing the details of the launch. This marks North Korea’s seventh ballistic missile test so far this year. Pyongyang has not yet responded to the reports.
