On April 8, the Islamic Republic of Iran Armed Forces’ Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters issued a statement announcing victory in a 40-day resistance war against the United States and Israel, and stating that it is prepared to face a “more intense, more protracted, and more widespread war.” The statement said that, over the past 40 days, Iran’s armed forces struck U.S. forces’ bases in the Middle East and Israel’s important military, security, and economic targets, inflicting extremely severe personnel casualties and economic losses on the U.S. and Israel, and that control of the war’s initiative had completely passed out of the hands of the U.S. and Israel. Ultimately, the U.S. and Israel “yielded” and accepted the ceasefire conditions proposed by Iran. The statement said this demonstrates that Iran is able to defeat its enemies on any level.
