Zcash developers release Q4 2025 roadmap: focusing on privacy features and Zashi Wallet improvements

ChainCatcher message, Electric Coin Company (ECC) has released its roadmap for the fourth quarter of 2025, focusing on reducing technical debt, improving Zashi user privacy and usability, and ensuring smooth management of development funds. Key priorities in the roadmap include: Temporary transparent address functionality: Generate a new temporary transparent address for each ZEC exchange through NEAR Intents to enhance privacy and reduce transaction association; Transparent address rotation functionality: Automatically generate a new transparent address whenever the previous address receives funds; Keystone resynchronization and disconnection functionality: Allow Zashi-Keystone users to unlink and resynchronize their Keystone devices; P2SH multi-signature support in Keystone: Used to protect the resource management of the Zcash development fund. ECC states that this roadmap is guiding rather than fixed and will be flexibly adjusted based on market conditions and revenue changes. The company updates the roadmap quarterly and invites Zcash community developers to participate in planning twice a year.
