According to Hong Kong media Ming Pao, Visa launched Visa Agentic Ready program in Hong Kong on May 1, enabling AI agent payments. The program leverages tokenization, identity verification, risk management, and authorization mechanisms. Initial participants include Bank of China (Hong Kong), DBS Bank (Hong Kong), Hang Seng Bank, HSBC Hong Kong, Reap, Standard Chartered Hong Kong, and ZhongAn Bank.
