Gate News message, April 28 — The U.S. Justice Department has filed a second criminal indictment against James Comey, former director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), according to reports on April 28. The specific charges have not yet been disclosed. The U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina has issued an arrest warrant for Comey.

This marks the second prosecution against Comey. In September last year, the Justice Department had charged him with making false statements to Congress and leaking information to the media, but that case was dismissed by a federal judge on the grounds that the prosecutor’s appointment procedure was improper.
