AirTrunk to Invest $3B in Malaysia Data Centers, Adding 280MW Capacity

According to AirTrunk, the Asia-Pacific and Middle East hyperscale data center operator will invest 12 billion ringgit ($3 billion) in two new campuses in Iskandar Puteri, Johor, Malaysia. The projects will add more than 280MW of IT load, bringing AirTrunk’s total Malaysia capacity to over 700MW across four campuses. The expansion aims to meet demand from cloud and AI customers and is expected to create over 3,000 construction jobs.
