Cryptocurrency broker Bitpanda announced that it is launching the Vision Chain blockchain network, aimed at enabling European banks and fintech companies to issue and settle tokenized assets under regulatory frameworks such as MiCA and MiFID II; the network is jointly built by Vision Web3 Foundation and Optimism, uses compliant euro-denominated stablecoins for transaction fees, and achieves settlement and scaling based on Optimism's Ethereum infrastructure; Bitpanda stated that this initiative aims to provide financial institutions with infrastructure connecting crypto and traditional finance.
