Hardware wallet maker Ledger announced the creation of a new Chief Human Agency Officer (Chief Human Agency Officer) position, held concurrently by its current Chief Experience Officer Ian Rogers. The role will be responsible for advancing the AI safety roadmap and ensuring that AI agents do not obtain excessive wallet and transaction permissions without human oversight. The company also plans to launch this year a hardware-based wallet system called “Proof of Human” to distinguish real users from AI agents. (DL News)
