Pakistani sources say Pakistan calls for a 45-day extension of the US-Iran ceasefire
On April 14, Pakistani diplomatic sources stated that Pakistan is calling for a 45-day extension of the US-Iran ceasefire agreement. The sources indicated that the current ceasefire agreement will expire on April 22. Pakistan has recently engaged with multiple parties to establish alliances to extend the ceasefire or resume technical-level contacts, paving the way for the second round of political negotiations. Mediators are assisting the US and Iran in exchanging information to push for at least a 45-day extension of the ceasefire period. (CCTV News)
