U.S. Vice President Announces Failed Negotiations with Iran, Bitcoin Plunges to $71,000

U.S. Vice President JD Vance confirmed that negotiations between the U.S. and Iran officially ended without an agreement after lasting 21 hours. Vance stressed that this failure happened because the Iranian side refused to make a commitment regarding the halt of nuclear weapons development.
"Iran has chosen not to accept the U.S. terms. This is bad news for Iran, far worse than for the United States," Vance said. According to available reports, the talks collapsed due to the U.S.’ demand for nuclear guarantees being regarded as unacceptable interference by Tehran. Meanwhile, Fars News reported that Iran currently does not have plans to hold further talks with the U.S.
This diplomatic failure immediately triggered Bitcoin to plunge into the $71,000 area, followed by a wave of liquidations in the crypto market that broke the figure $115 juta in just 60 minutes. Investors responded negatively to this geopolitical deadlock, given that the risk of escalation is increasing again after the negotiations ended.
