The Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security have launched a nationwide crackdown on nepotism within the system. Four categories of relationships—spouses, immediate family members, and others—are strictly prohibited from holding direct supervisory or sensitive positions within the same organization, with lifelong accountability.



I hear that many places have already started using big data to compare household registration, social security, and housing fund information.
Some units have uncovered 23 cases of hidden kinship relationships, including a couple where one spouse works in finance and the other in auditing within the same system. They have been asked to transfer one of them within a specified timeframe.

Now, those within the system are cutting ties overnight, fearing that big data might reveal something.
