Just saw this wild story about a Jin Air plane that had to evacuate everyone mid-boarding. Like, 122 people had to get off because smoke started filling the cabin right before takeoff. Happened in South Korea, flight was supposed to go from Jeju to Pohang. The crazy part? Turns out it wasn't even a fire or anything dangerous - just the auxiliary power unit overheating in the back. So the whole plane take off got cancelled, everyone evacuated, but no actual emergency. I guess it's good they caught it before the plane actually took off though. Would've been way worse if they didn't notice the smoke during the boarding process. Makes you think about how many safety systems are just quietly working in the background.
