I just read a story that left me thinking. A 78-year-old delivery person worked 12 hours a day to cover his expenses, but a customer in Tennessee saw something that broke her heart. She watched on her security camera as the delivery person nearly fell while climbing the stairs, and decided to do something about it.

Brittany Smith posted the video and the story went viral. Over 2.3 million views. When she found the delivery person, she learned that his wife was sick and unemployed, so she launched a fundraising campaign. The initial goal was $20,000, but look at this: it jumped from $300,000 to $900,000 in a short time. Nearly 20,000 donors participated, and now the goal is around a million.

The craziest part is that people who don’t even know this delivery person decided to help. The man said he couldn’t believe such generosity. The money will go toward medicines and monthly expenses, so he can finally stop working as a delivery person and truly retire with his wife. I don’t know, stories like this remind me that there are still good people out there. What do you all think about this?
