I just realized that we've been using the heart emojis on WhatsApp incorrectly haha. It turns out that each color has its own meaning and it's not just "I love you" for everyone. For example, red is for intense love, but orange is more to tell someone you only want friendship without romance.

What surprised me is that they mean very different things. Yellow is for pure friendship, blue for loyalty and trust, violet for compassion... even black has its reason for expressing mourning or dark humor. And don't get me started on the broken heart, the fire heart, or the beating heart that signifies accelerated excitement.

Honestly, what this 💗 heart means depends on the context, but that particular one is more to show radiant love and happiness. There are others like the growing (, those three overlapping hearts ) that show expanding love, or the arrow that’s for love at first sight.

I think many of us have sent the wrong emoji without knowing it. Did you know that each color conveys a different feeling? Because I was just using any without thinking much lol
