Wow, it's crazy that the 2026 Miami Masters 1000 is already underway. I just saw that a bunch of matches start today, and there are several Argentinians in the competition. Mariano Navone is facing Georgian Basilashvili, and Camilo Ugo Carabelli is up against Frenchman Mpetshi Perricard. Pretty tough for both of them, honestly.
What caught my attention is that Solana Sierra is also in the women's draw. She’s playing against Kamila Rajimova from Uzbekistan. It’s not easy for Solana Sierra, but hey, she’s there competing with the big names. Plus, there are other heavy hitters like Paula Badosa, Venus Williams ( at 517 in the rankings!), and Yulia Putintseva.
The featured matches start at 12 PM on ESPN or Disney+. Most have approximate times because it depends on how long the previous matches take. Solana Sierra isn’t playing before 2:20 PM if I’m not mistaken. The tournament runs until March 29 at Hard Rock Stadium.
Serena Williams has 8 titles at this tournament, which is crazy. Djokovic and Agassi have 6 each. Federer has 5. This Masters has quite a history, honestly.
