In the past few days, my holdings in STO (StakeStone) have skyrocketed nearly 10 times, from below $0.1 to over $1.0. It’s absolutely crazy. From my perspective, the main reasons are as follows:

1. The market cap is very small, so it can surge easily

STO has an extremely small circulating supply, previously trading sideways between $0.05 and $0.15, with highly concentrated holdings. A small amount of capital can trigger a huge rally, and just a little buying immediately pushes the price up.

2. Whales + leverage squeezing, short sellers getting wrecked

First, large whales buy in big amounts, absorbing all sell orders; then leverage short positions get liquidated (short squeeze), creating a chain reaction of buying, causing the price to skyrocket.

3. DeFi hype + positive news resonance

Recently, the DeFi sector has fully rebounded. As a cross-chain liquidity protocol, STO just happens to benefit from the hot topics of Restaking and cross-chain liquidity. Coupled with technical breakthroughs and a surge in trading volume, FOMO sentiment is fully ignited, and everyone is chasing the high.

4. Short-term sentiment dominates, risk is extremely high

This wave is entirely driven by capital and emotion, with no fundamental change. Turnover rate exceeds 500%, volatility is huge, and there’s a high risk of dump before unlock. I’m both excited and nervous right now, ready to run at any moment.
