Yo, so I just noticed Baby Doge is actually moving today? Like, not just random volatility but actual momentum. Up over 2% in the last 24 hours and trading volume picked up to like 76K. I remember when everyone was talking about this coin back in 2021 when it first launched. It's one of those doge designer projects that actually tried to do something different with the whole meme coin space, you know?
The thing about Baby Doge that always stood out to me was that it wasn't just another lazy copy. The doge designer team actually built in some interesting tokenomics - hyper-deflationary model, automatic rewards for holders, super low fees. Plus they were doing charity stuff with animal shelters which honestly gave it more purpose than most meme coins. That's kind of the whole doge designer philosophy behind it I guess.
I'm not gonna lie though, every time one of these meme coins starts moving, you get that wave of new people jumping in hoping to catch the next big thing. The community's still pretty active on it, which is wild considering how many coins have died since 2021. The question is whether Baby Doge actually has staying power or if it's just another pump that'll fade. Either way, the doge designer approach they took from the beginning is probably why it's still relevant when other projects completely disappeared. Not saying you should buy it or anything, but it's interesting to watch how some of these projects actually manage to stick around.
Anyone else holding Baby Doge or just watching from the sidelines?
