Tom Lee's Outlook for 2026: The Starting Point for Expansion After Three Years of Suppression

Tom Lee, the chairman of Bitmine, gave his market outlook for 2026 during interviews with The Prof G Pod and Fundstrat's Squawk Box on December 12 and 15, respectively. He believes that the market has been suppressed in recent years due to six "extinction-level" panics and the Federal Reserve's hesitation, which have dampened corporate investment impulses. He stated that only when the Federal Reserve cuts interest rates, rates begin to decline, and tech and AI stocks see profit growth will the business cycle truly start next year, benefiting various risk assets. Therefore, he predicts that the trend in 2026 may be similar to this year: first bearish and then bullish, with a potential 10%-15% correction in the first half of the year due to the Federal Reserve's delayed actions, followed by a significant recovery.
