China's Guotou Ruiyuan Silver Futures Fund will halt trading due to high premiums on its shares, effective until April 16, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. Investors are warned of potential losses from excessive premiums. Trading may be further suspended if premium issues persist.

PANews February 5 News, Guotou Silver LOF opened at the limit-down on the exchange, and has now hit the limit-down for four consecutive days. The premium rate has fallen back to 37.13%. The fund net value updated last night shows a latest net value of 2.5108 yuan, an increase of 8.05% compared to the previous day.

On February 2nd, the spot silver price fell by 12%, and NY silver futures also dropped over 5%. Analysis indicates that due to the significant divergence between secondary market prices and net asset value, Guotou Silver LOF has recently suspended trading multiple times, reflecting the high risk and speculative behavior in the silver market. Although there may be bottom-fishing funds entering in the short term, the long-term trend of silver price correction is likely to continue.
