Gate News message. On April 9, the Israeli Ministry of Energy said that after a ceasefire agreement was reached between the U.S. and Iran, it had instructed the international oil and gas exploration and production company Energean to begin restoring operations at the Karish natural gas platform along Israel’s Mediterranean coast (a key natural gas production facility in Israel). For safety reasons, the platform has been shut down since the U.S.-Israel-Iran conflict began on February 28. Energean confirmed that it has received notice from the Ministry of Energy, allowing it to safely restart the Karish field station and resume production and operations. The company said it is working to safely restart production and restore normal operations in accordance with operating procedures. Energean’s London-listed shares rose 2.4% today.
