Arc releases a quantum-resistant design and roadmap, laying the groundwork for blockchain security in the post-quantum era

Gate News message, April 6, Circle L1 blockchain Arc released a post-quantum (Post-Quantum) design and roadmap, aiming to actively defend against potential threats from quantum computing to blockchains and to ensure end-to-end security for wallets, private state, validators, and infrastructure. The roadmap includes: supporting post-quantum wallet signing schemes when the mainnet goes live; achieving post-quantum private state protection in the short term through a private VM; and gradually upgrading over the medium to long term via infrastructure and validator signing. Its post-quantum design uses full-stack coverage and user-selectable options, supports post-quantum wallet and private smart contract state protection, and is compatible with the EVM ecosystem to avoid large-scale forced migrations.
