Gnosis co-founder and Zisk founder announced the Ethereum Economic Zone (EEZ) plan at the EthCC conference, aimed at creating a framework for Rollups to enhance the composability of smart contracts and address Ethereum's fragmentation issues. The project is funded by the Ethereum Foundation, and all software will be released in open-source form to achieve minimal governance and non-upgradability.
