Abstract generation in progress

People’s Finance News, April 2.—According to a message from the Ministry of Emergency Management, in accordance with the arrangements for the central work-safety performance evaluation and inspection tour for 2026, starting in early April, 24 central work-safety performance evaluation and inspection teams led by heads of relevant units under the State Council Safety Commission will conduct a series of quarterly on-site and off-site inspections of key areas.

These on-site and off-site inspections will focus on problems exposed by typical accidents and major incidents posing safety risks that occurred since this year. They will center on the implementation of work-safety responsibilities, the progress in advancing the “three-year campaign” to tackle root causes in work safety, the effectiveness in carrying out key work-safety tasks and the full-chain remediation of “one matter,” and the inspection and remediation of major safety risk hazards in key industries and fields. They will conduct in-depth major accident hazard inspections and remediation and expert guidance services. By identifying problems and tracing back the performance of duties by relevant departments, they will urge and drive all regions to carry out solid learning and education to establish and practice the correct view of political performance, coordinate development and safety, and effectively improve the quality and efficiency of risk-hazard inspections and remediation, promptly eliminate safety hazards, firmly curb the momentum of accidents occurring frequently, and ensure that the overall work-safety situation remains stable.

For typical cases found through these on-site and off-site inspections, action will be taken in accordance with the law, accountability will be pursued, and there will be public exposure.
