The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology approves the establishment of the Shenzhen National-Level Internet Backbone Direct Connection Point

People’s Finance News, April 3: On March 30, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology approved the establishment of a national-level Internet backbone direct connection point in Shenzhen. National-level Internet backbone direct connection points are the core nodes for achieving interconnection and interoperability of Internet backbone networks, and they serve as important communication hubs for aggregating and routing traffic between networks. As of now, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has approved and established 30 direct connection points in total, further optimizing the layout of China’s interconnection and interoperability infrastructure, improving the overall communication performance and efficiency of the Internet, and driving the digital transformation and upgrading of local traditional industries.
