On April 2, according to The Block, the live prediction market platform Pumpcade has completed a $1.0 million seed pre-round, led by Pump.fun, with Foundation Capital and angel investor RadioSolace participating as co-investors. This round of funding will be used to expand the engineering team and advance its launch strategy, in preparation for an exit from the private testing phase.

Pumpcade allows users to create prediction markets with a single click directly in the live chat, covering a wide range of topics including cryptocurrency prices, stocks, sports events, and real-time road conditions. It compresses the full lifecycle of a prediction market into a timeframe of 60 seconds to 30 minutes. In terms of its settlement mechanism, the platform settles via official APIs directly connected to or from deterministic data sources, reducing counterparty risk and eliminating any dispute window period.
