To turn your life around and get rich, you need to make three changes:

1. Be Rational and Principled

Soft-hearted people who care about face, consider others' feelings, and are morally bound often don't make money. Wealthy individuals are both rational and principled—they give what should be given and withhold what shouldn't. If you're not as successful as others, it's because they think with their brains while you think with your heart.

2. Have Boundaries and Dare to Say No

Dare to say no to those who deceive or attack you. Countering them is a way to teach them how to get along. Speaking loudly signals to others that you're not smiling—don't mess around. Don't give kindness to the wrong people; accommodating others can make you lose yourself. The more boundaries you set, the more others will respect you.

3. Break Bad Habits

Do the opposite of those around you and work with reflective thinking. Most people are lazy; only 5% use self-discipline to overcome it. You need to surpass 95% of mediocrity. Mediocre people do what most others do. To surpass the unmotivated, you need to change your track.
