Israeli Defense Minister: Israel will continue to control the southern Lebanon "buffer zone" after the conflict ends

People’s Finance and News reported on March 31. Israeli Defense Minister Katz said in a video statement on March 31 that after the current conflict ends, Israel will continue to control the “buffer zone” south of the Litani River in southern Lebanon. Katz stated that all residents evacuated from southern Lebanon will not be “allowed to return home” until their security in northern Israel is guaranteed, and that “all houses” in villages near the temporary border with Lebanon will be demolished.
