Pakistan Delegation Concludes Three-Day Official Visit to Iran

Gate News message, April 18 — Pakistan’s military concluded a three-day official visit to Iran, led by Pakistan Army Chief of Staff Munir and Interior Minister Naqvi, according to a statement from Pakistan’s Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on April 18. During the visit, Munir met with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and held talks with Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf and Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.

The delegations focused discussions on regional sustainable peace, with particular emphasis on current regional security conditions, diplomatic efforts, and cooperative measures to promote long-term peace and stability in the region.

Munir stressed that regional stability should be maintained through continued dialogue, de-escalation of tensions, and peaceful resolution of outstanding issues.
